The Nerdist Channel is a YouTube Channel created in partnership between Nerdist Industries, The Jim Henson Company, GeekChicDaily, and Broadway Video Entertainment, with strategic partners of Soapbox Films and The Chernin Group.

The channel was created to provide an offering of nerd-based video entertainment.

The Henson Alternative webseries "Marvin E. Quasniki for President" was the first series to debut on the Nerdist Channel - launching in December 2011.

Original shows on the channel include "Marvin E. Quasniki for President," "Ain't It Cool with Harry Knowles," "Neil's Puppet Dreams," "Chris Hardwick's All Star Bowling," "Face to Face with "Weird Al" Yankovic," "Course of the Force" and "Star Talk with Neil deGrasse Tyson", among others.

Additionally existing content that were planned to be available via the channel, included webisodes from the Jim Henson Company's "Farscape" and the Henson Alternative webseries “S.U.D.S. (Simian Undercover Detective Squad)" but only S.U.D.S arrived on the Nerdist channel and the rest were scrapped.

Henson's Miskreant Puppets appeared in a video press conference for the Nerdist Channel along with Chris Hardwick and "Weird Al" Yankovic to announce the initial line-up of programs in March 2012. The video was removed in June 2018 due to abuse allegations against him and being scrubbed from the Nerdist website and productions.[1]
