The Hot Dogs are a troupe of puppets freatured in The Jim Henson Company's Puppet Up! - Uncensored and Stuffed and Unstrung stage shows.
They often appear in a sketch that features the whole cast showing the hot dogs acting out a group event -- such as performing surgery or playing a drinking games.
The puppets were previously used as Frankie Frank and the Footers in the Jim Henson Company's 1993 television series CityKids.
In the Puppet Up television special, the Hot Dogs were performed by Julianne Buescher, Tyler Bunch, Brian Henson, Ted Michaels, Drew Massey, Paul Rugg, Allan Trautman, and Victor Yerrid.
In 2013, the Hot Dogs starred in a new web series for Nerdist called Ketchup with the Hot Dogs where they recapped the previous season of current TV shows.
The Hot Dogs also appeared in That Puppet Game Show.
A hot dog named Hot Dog appeared as a panelist in No, You Shut Up! where he worked as an actor, a model, and the host of the talk show "Speaking Frankly."
A hot dog appeared in The Happytime Murders during the credits.
A group of shouting hot dogs was also appeared in the theme song since 2022, but one hot dog says to the fish and the warthog to wrap the song up, shortly.

Puppet Up! merchandise with the hot dogs was released, many pieces featuring the caption "Bite Me!"; they also adorned the Henson Company's 2006 Holiday card. An exclusive hot dog plush doll was produced and sold at Stuffed and Unstrung shows in 2010.
