FROM | Puppet Up! - Uncensored and Stuffed and Unstrung |
An old man had been used for various characters in Puppet Up! - Uncensored, Stuffed and Unstrung, and other Henson Alternative productions.
The puppet was designed by Drew Massey for Puppet Up.
The puppet was later used as Steve in The Henson.com Podcast, as Marvin E. Quasniki in Marvin E. Quasniki for President, as Dr. Phayull in Alt/Reality, as George in That Puppet Game Show (performed by Andrew Spooner), and as Tim Crotchety on No, You Shut Up!.
Old Man #2[]
FROM | Puppet Up! - Uncensored and Stuffed and Unstrung |
Another old man puppet has also been used for various characters in Puppet Up! - Uncensored, Stuffed and Unstrung, and various Henson Alternative productions.
The puppet was designed by Drew Massey for Puppet Up!
In Stuffed and Unstrung, he was featured in a repeated sketch: "The Dissassembled Rag" as a dancing usher and (through the use of chroma key technology and video looping) his identical brothers. For this bit he was often performed by Brian Henson or Bill Barretta.
The old man appeared in the Alt/Reality episode "Antique Swap Meet" as an "antique" found in a man's attic. He is appraised as a "late model grandpa" and continually asks for figs. The puppet was also used in the episode "First Date" as a waiter (performed by Paul Rugg).
In the Neil's Puppet Dreams episode "The Restaurant," the puppet appears as a patron (performed by Victor Yerrid) continually asking for the club he ordered only to be hit by a club from the Caveman Chef.
The old man also appeared in The Happytime Murders performed again by Victor Yerrid.
