The Mad Goat appeared in the first episode of the Henson Alternative webseries The Simian Undercover Detective Squad, entitled "It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Goat."
He was seen meeting with the Heptagon scientist that was Skreet and Yeager's lead to the Heptagon at the time when the Heptagon planned to harvest the Mad Goat disease. When Skreet and Yeager subdue the scientist and start to interrogate the scientist, Mad Ghost shoots down the teams' Heptagon lead simply because he parked in his spot. When Captain Futz was not pleased that their lead on the Heptagon was killed, Skreet and Yeager state that they managed to stop the Mad Goat Disease distribution and that they managed to make an arrest where it is shown that they arrested Mad Goat for the murder of the Heptagon scientist. Mad Goat is then shown in their custody stating that he thinks playgrounds are stupid, doesn't like sugar in his iced tea, and hates loud rock music.
The goat puppet was built for the 2001 Henson Company television series Telling Stories with Tomie dePaola, it was also recycled as a member of the Puppet Up! - Uncensored cast before being featured in S.U.D.S.
